The Liberty City Renaissance - OneUnited Mural Project brings together OneUnited Bank and the Miami Children’s Initiative for a public art works, youth development, community beautification program that will provide arts enrichment through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) learning.

The OneUnited Mural Project is a project-based apprenticeship for Liberty City youth. A select cohort of teens worked with the established, local artist and muralist Addonis Parker,to research, design and create a public work of art utilizing the OneUnited Bank building located at Northwest 79th Street, Liberty City, Miami, as it’s canvas. The transformation of the brown and black OneUnited bank building into an artistic masterpiece representing the story and culture of the community will become a beacon and visual sign of change.

The OneUnited Mural Project will be a signature contributor to the re-definition of 79th street as businesses such as Walmart establish themselves on the corridor. Within the Liberty City Renaissance initiative, OneUnited will not only support community development through their financial services but, bring pride and hope to youth and the community.
